Far West. Minister for Health and Population Pradeep Poudel has said that the incumbent government is active to work in favour of the people.

Addressing a press conference organized by Nepal Press Union in Dhangadhi today, Minister Poudel said that the government was working cautiously as it would send a negative message to the people about the government.

According to him, only the political machinery is being implemented after the formulation of the present constitution and criticism has started on the constitution due to lack of work on the basic needs of the people such as health and education.

Minister Poudel said the government was committed to start MBBS course by running a hospital at Shaheed Dashrath Chand University of Health Sciences in Kailali.

“Geta Medical College will be made 300 beds and 250 manpower has already been sent to the Finance Ministry for approval,” he said. ’
