Kathmandu. The Genji generation has started protesting in Kathmandu for the second day. People gathered in front of the Parliament Building in Baneshwor, Kathmandu on Tuesday morning and started chanting slogans.
The Genji generation has gathered in front of the main gate of the parliament building, chanting slogans against the prime minister and the government. According to the police, some people had come to see the situation in the Baneshwor area on Monday.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Apilraj Bohara, spokesperson of the District Police Range, Kathmandu, said. The district administration has imposed an indefinite curfew on the Ring Road in Kathmandu from 8:30 am on Tuesday.
On Monday, 19 people were killed in protests by the Genji generation. 17 people died in Kathmandu and two in Itahari.
