Kathmandu. The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) expresses deep sorrow over the loss of life and property in course of the demonstration organized by the Gen-G generation across the country demanding various reforms. We express our heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives during the demonstration. We also wish for the speedy recovery of the injured.

We heartily urge the Government of Nepal, political parties and all concerned to be sensitive towards the concerns of the younger generation regarding the issues of decent employment, self-employment and utilization of revenue paid by the general public and entrepreneurs. The FNJ would also like to draw the attention of all concerned to ensure that an atmosphere of further despair and unrest is not created in the country and that peaceful agitation and unnecessary force should not be used in this process.

Decent employment with high wages is possible only by creating an environment of high economic growth with social justice. We all should be patient and move towards prosperity through dialogue and cooperation to make economic activities dynamic and to disseminate positive message from Nepal throughout the world during the main tourist season.

The FNJ has appealed to all political parties including the government and the Gen-G generation to ensure easy and dignified access to government services as per the wishes of the youths and to contribute in building a prosperous society by creating a conducive environment for investment and employment promotion.
