Kathmandu. Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Thapa has said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli should resign immediately after taking responsibility for the crackdown on the Zenji movement.
“Nepali Congress will not be a witness to this situation even for a single day,” he said in his Facebook post.
“I couldn’t sleep all night,” he wrote on Facebook. Like me, the whole of Nepal, inside and outside the country, has not been able to sleep. The brutal sight of innocent youths being killed unnecessarily, is unfolding before our eyes. The Prime Minister should take responsibility for this repression and resign immediately. Now, the Nepali Congress cannot remain a witness and partner in this situation even for a single day. The Nepali Congress should withdraw from the government immediately. I will take this decision through the party meeting. ’
