Gandaki. The Kaski District Administration Office has imposed a prohibitory order in various places of the district from 8:00 am today until further notice.

The prohibitory order has been imposed in the area around Shahid Chowk in the east, Bailanchok in the northeast, Fishtail Gate (Baidam) in the west, Land Revenue Office in the north, Rastra Bank Chowk in the south and Damside area in front of Tourism Board Office in the southwest.

Likewise, the prohibitory order is in effect in Bhimkali Patan Bagar in the north, Adhikari Tole in the south, Nadipur Highway in the east and Bagbazaar taxi chowk in the west.

The prohibitory order issued by Chief District Officer Rudra Devi Sharma has prohibited gathering of more than five people in the area, including sit-in, picketing, procession, demonstration and assembly. The administration has stated that action will be taken against anyone violating this order or obstructing the compliance of the order during this period÷ as per the prevailing laws.
