Kathmandu. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology said the influence of the Westerly wind is likely to occur at many places of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and at some places of the western part of the Gandaki province while the influence of monsoon and local wind is weak in the rest of the areas.

The weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly region including Koshi and Gandaki province and mainly fair in the rest of the country towards the afternoon. Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly region of Koshi and Gandaki province and mainly fair in the rest of the country tonight. Light rain will occur in some places while light snowfall is predicted in high hilly and mountainous area.
