Today, the EC sent a letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs stating that the venue limit has been lifted.

A meeting of the commission held on September 28 had decided to ban writers from travelling abroad and barring them from leaving the Kathmandu Valley without the commission’s approval.

The writer went to the commission on Monday and gave a statement.
