Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court (SC) has issued a show cause order on the habeas corpus petition filed by Durga Prasai.
A single bench of Justice Kumar Regmi issued the order to show cause for Prasai’s arrest.
Prasai was arrested from his residence in Bhaktapur on Sunday. The Bhaktapur District Administration Office had given permission to the police to investigate the case by keeping him in custody for 5 days.
Advocate Suresh Bohara had filed a writ petition naming the District Administration Office, Bhaktapur and the District Police Office, Bhaktapur as defendants.
