Indian border closed in Parsa from midnight, when will it be opened?

Birgunj. KATHMANDU: The District Administration Office (DAO) has closed off the international border points with India for 72 hours in view of the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives.

Assistant Chief District Officer of Parsa, Binod Kumar Pokharel, said that the border points in East Champaran and West Champaran districts of Bihar state of India have been closed for the purpose of election security. “The border points will be closed from 12.00 midnight of March 2 to 12.00 midnight on March 4,” he said, adding that there is a tradition of both countries shutting the borders for 72 hours during the elections. ”
