Kathmandu. Rastriya Janata Party (RSP) candidate Biraj Bhakta Shrestha has been elected from Kathmandu-8. Shrestha garnered 24,592 votes.
Her nearest rival was left alliance’s Narayan Kaji Shrestha who got 2,217 votes and her nearest rival Rajbhandari of Nepali Congress got 2,535 votes. Similarly, Rajesh Shakya of CPN-UML got 1909 votes.
