Persa. Nepal imported petroleum products worth Rs 123.67 billion in the first eight months of the current fiscal year.

According to the Birgunj Customs Office, the import of fuel has increased in the current fiscal year as compared to the same period of the last fiscal year.

Revenue of Rs 52.15 billion has been collected from the import of petroleum products. Likewise, 702,300 kilolitres of diesel worth Rs 63.65 billion was imported.

A total of 290,382 kilolitres of petrol worth Rs 25.30 billion was imported in the review period.
