Kathmandu. The weather is partly to generally cloudy with the influence of the Westerly as well as the local winds prevailing in the country at present.

The weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous region of the country including Koshi Province while the weather will be partly cloudy in the rest of the country.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is taking place at one or two places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces at present.

On Wednesday, it will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and partly cloudy in the rest of the hilly and mountainous regions. However, the weather in the Tarai region will be mainly clear.

Light rain or snowfall is likely to occur at some places of the hilly and mountainous region of Koshi Province and Gandaki Province and at one or two places of the rest of the country.

Similarly, the weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous region of the country including in the Sudurpaschim Province tonight while it will be partly to generally clear in the Tarai region. The Division has urged the general public to adopt precaution towards possible risks of rainfall, lightning and snowfall.
