Doty. A man has died after a piece of meat got stuck in his throat while eating.

According to the District Police Office, 50-year-old Kale of Dahakali of Adarsha Rural Municipality-7 of the district died after a chokta got stuck in the neck while eating Nepali meat.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Nawaraj Dhungel, Nepali fell unconscious after a piece of meat got stuck around his neck while having dinner at his home on Thursday night.

He was rushed to Rajpur-based Soojung Hospital for treatment but the doctors declared him dead.
