Kathmandu. Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Pratibha Rawal, has started direct talks with the victims of cooperatives.

Minister Rawal’s interaction with the victims comes at a time when the government is aiming to refund the money to small cooperative savers within 100 days.

Since this morning, victims of cooperatives from various cooperatives across the country have been gathering at the Ministry and have been putting forth their problems and grievances with Minister Rawal. People who have been affected by not getting their savings back for a long time have got an opportunity to directly narrate their situation.

During the discussion, Minister Rawal said that the problem of the victims has been given top priority. “The ministry is serious about how to effectively address the victims,” she said.

Minister Rawal said that the government is working to solve the problems seen in the cooperative sector in a phased manner and is especially focused on providing relief to small savers.

The discussion is expected to take concrete initiatives towards resolving the problems of the cooperative victims.
