Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has announced various schemes targeting the Nepali New Year 2083.

In line with the bank’s plan to celebrate the year 2083 as Digital Promotion Year under various schemes, all active mobile banking users of the bank will be able to win attractive travel packages through Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank’s mobile app “Mahalaxmi Smart Saathi”. The winning 3 users will get a chance to visit Pokhara, Chitwan and Manakamana along with their spouse under domestic tourism.

Further, to promote digital banking, it will further promote reward points that mobile banking users can get for various digital transactions. The phone points received by the mobile banking users will be credited to the Rewards app. The app can be downloaded from Play Store and App Store. Such reward points can be used for various purchases and other tasks subject to certain conditions.

On the occasion of New Year 2083, the bank has also launched home loan with easy interest rates. Under the Mahalaxmi Home Loan÷ loan will be provided for the purchase of residential÷commercial houseland, house construction, apartment, ÷house reconstruction÷renovationrenovation and renovation period of minimum 2 years to a maximum of 30 years. The interest rate of such loans will remain constant for a period of 7 years.
