The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the prices of diesel, kerosene and aviation fuel in the domestic sector with effect from 12 midnight last night.TAG_OPEN_div_15 The price of aviation fuel has been increased by Rs 30 per litre while diesel and kerosene have been increased by Rs 5.
As per the revised price, the price of diesel and kerosene has been increased to Rs 237 per liter while the price of aviation fuel has been increased to Rs 256 per liter.TAG_OPEN_div_13
The corporation claims that the price has increased in the international market and according to the new price list sent by the Indian Oil Corporation, there is still a huge loss.TAG_OPEN_div_11 The NOC said it has incurred loss of Rs 2.32 per litre on petrol, Rs 87.99 per litre on diesel, Rs 36.70 per litre of kerosene and Rs 331.25 per cylinder of LP cooking gas due to higher cost and lower selling price.
