Bow. A fire broke out at the Janakpur Refinery at Dhalkebar of Mithila Municipality-7 on Wednesday.

According to Sanjaya Gupta, manager of the refinery, the loss of Rs 150 million has been incurred in the fire last night. Steam and thermofull machines installed at the refinery were burnt.

The fire was put out by the joint efforts of Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and Nepal Army, along with five fire engines from Janakpur, Mahendranagar and Dhalkebar.

Laxman KC, Police Inspector at Dhalkebar-based Area Police Office, said that it would take few more days to collect details of the damage. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
