7-day remand extended against Pathak for cheating savers

. The Supreme Court has extended the remand of Balaram Pathak, chairman of Dynamic Cooperative, who was arrested on the charge of misappropriating money from savers.

Chief of the District Police Range, Lalitpur, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Hobindra Bogati said that the Kathmandu District Court has remanded Pathak to custody for seven days for further investigation.

He said, “Our team has arrested Chairman Pathak on the charge of misappropriating the money of the savers. Today, we have taken permission from the court to extend the custody of the accused for seven days. ”
