Kathmandu. The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) has arrested absconding tailor head Rohit Lal Shrestha in connection with the Kist Bank scam.

He was arrested from Maharajgunj today, 2030 on the charge of cheating and causing loss to the bank by preparing fake documents, seals, bank employees and security guards.

The court also imposed a fine of Rs 1,33,333 on him. The investigation revealed that he was working as a junior assistant in the Thamel branch of the bank while he was working as a tailor head. Shrestha was produced before the Kathmandu District Court for the implementation of the verdict, said bureau spokesperson Shiva Kumar Shrestha.
