Kathmandu. The stock market has seen a slight improvement. On the last day of the week, the market rose by 1.54 points to 2788.70 points.

A total of 1,21,74,516 units of shares of 351 companies were traded worth Rs 5.27 billion.

The sub-indices of banking, development banks, hotels, hydropower, production and processing and trading groups increased while the sub-indices of other sub-indices decreased.

The prices of 87 companies increased in the trade, while the prices of 168 companies declined. The prices of Palpa Cement, Shikhar Power Development and Maikhola Hydropower Company were in the positive circuit.
