Parsa. Birgunj Metropolitan City has requested the landless people who have become completely landless in course of the expansion of the main road and who do not have land anywhere in the rest of the country to come in contact within thirty days.

The Division Road in Hetauda started demolishing houses and huts built by encroaching on the road from Gandakchowk to Miteripul in Birgunj on April 6.

Issuing a public notice on Friday, Birgunj Metropolitan City Administration and Management Division Chief Sunil Kumar Karna urged the landless people who will become landless due to the road expansion process to come to contact with the required documents within 30 days.

According to KMC, the data collection process is being started as per the decision of the District Disaster Management Committee held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Chief District Officer Bhola Dahal.

KMC Mayor Rajesh Man Singh said a recommendation would be made to the federal government to provide relief to the people affected by the flood situation after conducting a thorough investigation into the details received from the metropolis.

Similarly, the District Administration Office has requested the administration not to do business in the damaged houses.

Assistant Chief District Officer Binod Kumar Pokharel urged the landlords, businessmen and the general public not to operate and operate in risky structures as some landlords might put the landlords, entrepreneurs and the general public at risk.
