Bhojpur. Due to the rains, the road has been blocked here and the electricity service has been affected.

The road at Bokhim of Bhojpur Municipality-5 in the district has been completely obstructed due to rain on Saturday evening. As it is a road under the Mid-Hill Pushpalal Highway, vehicles ply here daily.

Ward chair Fabindra Pradhan said that efforts are being made to repair the road as there is problem in vehicular movement at present.

The rain has also damaged the unpaved roads in the rural areas of the district. The power supply in the district has been disrupted due to the problem in the hydropower and the 33 KV national transmission line.

District Police Office, Bhojpur, said that details of loss caused by rain are being collected.
