Kathmandu. The Supreme Court (SC) has ordered businessman Shekhar Golchha to submit a written response through the Office of the Attorney General within 24 hours of the date of receiving the notice.

A single bench of Justice Nripa Dhwaj Niraula today issued the order to the defendant Central Investigation Bureau Kathmandu to submit a written response along with the habeas corpus petition within 24 hours from the date of receipt of the notice.

Golchha’s wife Seema Golchha had filed a writ petition on behalf of Golchha claiming that he was kept in jail illegally. The court issued the order while hearing the petition.

The order also directed the petitioner to keep a copy of the writ petition along with a copy of the writ petition and to issue a notice in the name of the defendants within the time limit and after the expiry of the time period, the petitioner has been asked to extend the time limit and bring the file that the investigation is underway.
