Kathmandu. ROLPA: At least 17 people were killed when a jeep met with an accident at Jaljala of Thawang in Rolpa district this morning. The accident took place at Jaljala of Thawang rural municipality-1 when the jeep fell down some 800 meters from a cliff on Thursday afternoon.
Police said that 17 people have died so far and rescue operations are underway. The Bolero jeep (Lu 1 Ja 4167) met with the accident. According to the police, the jeep carrying the participants of a fair on the occasion of Baisakh Purnima met with an accident at Jaljala.
