Kathmandu. At present, there is influence of the low pressure area in the lower atmosphere near the eastern part along with the westerly and local winds in the country.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be generally cloudy in the mountainous and hilly areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces while it will be partly cloudy in the rest of the country. Light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is taking place at some places of Bagmati, Gandaki, Koshi, Lumbini and Karnali provinces.

On Monday, it will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous regions of Lumbini, Lumbini, Sudurpaschim and Bagmati provinces, and partly cloudy in the rest of the country.

Likewise, moderate rain with thunder and lightning is possible at a few places of Koshi and Madhesh provinces, at a few places of hilly and mountainous regions of the country, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.

Tonight, it will be generally cloudy in the hilly region, Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and partly cloudy in the hilly region while it will be partly cloudy in the Tarai region. There are chances of moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at some places of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and at one or two places of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
