Kathmandu. Various officials have been automatically relieved from their posts as per the “Special Provision Ordinance on the Removal of Public Officials Ordinance, 2083”.

The ordinance relieved Executive Director and Member Secretary of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Hitendra Dev Shakya and members Ratan Bahadur Ayer, Dr Bal Bahadur Parajuli, Shyam Kishor Yadav and Rohit Poudel from their posts.

Likewise, Chairman of the Electricity Regulatory Commission Dr Ram Prasad Dhital and members Dr Madhusudhan Adhikari and Dr Jhamak Prasad Sharma, Gautam Dangol and Bhagirathi Bhattarai were relieved of their posts.
