Kathmandu. There is influence of the westerly low pressure system and local winds in Nepal as well as the low pressure area located near the eastern part of Nepal.

At present, the weather is generally cloudy in the mountainous and hilly areas of Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, Koshi, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. The weather will be partly cloudy in the rest of the country. Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at few places of Koshi, Bagmati and Lumbini provinces and at one or two places of Madhesh, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.

On Wednesday, there will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous regions while there will be partly cloudy in the Tarai region. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, light rain or thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of the mountainous and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and at a few places of the hilly and mountainous regions of the western region.
