Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has extended its full support to the price transparency week announced by the government and called on industrialists across the country to participate in the campaign.

The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry has decided to observe the ‘Price Transparency Week’ from May 11 to June 13. Issuing a press release on Sunday, the federation has expressed the belief that this campaign will be effective in bringing uniformity in the price of goods and services in the market and to create a fair business environment.

According to the ministry’s circular, the FNCCI has urged its member chambers of commerce, commodity associations and associated entrepreneurs to maintain an updated price list of the goods and services they sell compulsorily and clearly.

The federation has also urged the District and Municipal Chambers of Commerce and Industry to ensure that the price list is maintained in the markets of their respective areas and to actively participate in this campaign to make this campaign a success.
