Kathmandu. BIRGUNJ: Police have arrested six persons on the charge of trespassing into various casinos in Birgunj. Acting on a tip-off, five Indian nationals and one Nepali national were arrested on Saturday for their alleged involvement in gambling, said Hari Bahadur Basnet, spokesperson of the District Police Office.

The arrestees have been identified as Ganesh Kumar, Sandip Kumar, Suraj Prasad, Allah Yadav, Om Prakash Yadav and Jamuddin Miya Ansari of Birgunj Metropolitan City-32. Acting on a special tip-off, a joint team deployed from the District Police Office and Ward Police Office, Birta arrested them from Kings Casino, Fortune City Gaming Club and Casino Majong for further investigation, said Spokesperson Basnet.

Police have also confiscated some cash and two mobile phones from them.
