According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather is generally cloudy in the mountainous region of the country, Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini province while it is partly cloudy in the rest of the country. Some places of Koshi and Bagmati provinces, and some places of Lumbini and Gandaki provinces are likely to witness moderate rainfall.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be generally cloudy in the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and partly cloudy in the rest of the country towards the afternoon. Light rain or snowfall is likely to occur at some places of the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province and at one or two places of hilly region of Gandaki Province and Bagmati Province.

Similarly, tonight, it will be generally cloudy in the mountainous region of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and partly cloudy in the rest of the country. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is possible at some places of Koshi Province and Madhes Province and at a few places of Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province and at one or two places of mountainous region of Karnali Province.
