Directive not to buy any new material except essential

. The government has instructed the public to adopt austerity in public procurement and not to purchase any new materials except the most essential.

The Office of TAG_OPEN_div_7 the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Thursday issued a circular directing all the ministries, commissions, secretariats, government bodies, Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, as well as all provinces.

The Office of the Council of Ministers has requested the government not to purchase new materials except the most essential ones to save public expenditure by keeping the existing tools, equipment, furniture and vehicles in condition.
