Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Acting Chief Justice Sapana Pradhan Malla has issued an order to fix the case against the recommendation of the Constitutional Council for the post of Chief Justice.

Senior advocates Dinesh Tripathi, Geeta Thapa and Prem Raj Silwal had filed separate writ petitions on May 8.

Acting Chief Justice Malla has ordered the petition to be filed today and scheduled for hearing tomorrow.

“Stopping the application filed at the court as per the procedure and procedure prescribed by the law will be an obstacle in the way of justice and an attempt to increase the distrust of the people of the court,” Malla said in the written order.
