Kathmandu. The Department of Food Technology and Quality Control (FITC) has tested the samples of Dabur Honey and it has been found to be sub-standard.
Dabur Honey, manufactured by Dabur Nepal Pvt. Ltd., was found to be substandard.
The manufacturing company has been ordered to immediately return the product from the market after it was found to be of sub-standard quality and not to sell it.
According to the department, the government has issued an order to immediately return all honey from the market as per the provision of Clause 38 (2020) of the Food Hygiene and Quality Act, 2081.
The department has urged the people not to sell and distribute any food items containing magnesium glycinate.
The Department has also stated that action would be taken as per the Food Hygiene and Quality Act, 2081 BS if found selling such food items.
