Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has organized a week-long program to mark the 32nd anniversary of its establishment. The program was organized to mark the 32nd anniversary on Thursday. According to the bank, the program was held from May 15 to May 7.

As part of the annual program, a morning rally with financial literacy was held on May 14 with the participation of employees of the bank’s central office, provincial offices and branches.

The programs covered topics related to banking services such as mobile banking, smart QR, deposit, loan, remittance, etc. A free health camp was organized at the central office on May 18 and a dental and eye camp was also organized on May 18.

In these camps, about 200 people were examined for their health, eyes and teeth. On the occasion of its anniversary, the bank organized blood donation programs at various provincial offices and central offices across the country on May 20. 200 pints of blood were collected through the blood donation program.

According to the bank, the bank has handed over cleaning and other medical supplies to the Mahalaxmi temples located in different places for the promotion of culture and cleanliness of the temple.

The bank has also supported to promote, maintain and maintain the garden at Mahalaxmi Temple situated at Mahalaxmi Sthan, Lalitpur and to promote digital Dakshina payment.

Likewise, the bank organized a mock show of local costumes to highlight the geographical and cultural situation of the country through the bank’s central office, provincial offices and branch offices on Thursday.

On the same day, the water tank was handed over to Narayanhiti Guthi Management Committee, Narayanhiti for the management of drinking water.

On the occasion of World Photography Day celebrated on August 19, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has been organizing ‘Bijchitra Photography Competition’ every year to promote local small and medium businesses.

The bank will also be conducting the fifth series of Mahalaxmi Corporate Cricket, which has been successfully operated for the last 4 years.
