Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has directed the banks and financial institutions (BFIs) to make arrangements for providing additional remuneration to their employees while deputing them on work during office hours.

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has issued such directives by amending the Unified Directive. NRB licensed institutions are required to provide their employees to the existing laws and directives of the Rastra Bank. Point No. 14. 3. Instructions have been given to carry out the work in accordance with it.

Banking sector employees are frustrated, problems increasing as NRB becomes helpless  

The apex court has also directed the banks and financial institutions (BFIs) not to force their employees to work outside office hours. This system did not exist before. This is a new system.
