Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balen Shah has pledged to address the problems of landless squatters in the Kathmandu Valley. He made the commitment while responding to questions from lawmakers in the House of Representatives on Sunday.
He said that his party and the ruling party Rastriya Samajwadi Party would resolve the problems of the landless squatters and make proper management. “When I was in the local government, I told the federal government that they should be shifted from there and kept in a holding centre and the government should manage the land for those who are squatters who do not even have land in the country,” he says.
He also urged people not to search for work that has not been done in 35 years.
Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle also said that the budget will be managed within this fiscal year.
