Kathmandu. The weather will be generally cloudy in many places of the country today.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous region and partly cloudy in the Tarai region towards the afternoon.

Likewise, moderate rain and snowfall along with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at a few places of the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and at one or two places of the Tarai region of Koshi and Lumbini provinces.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly region and mainly fair in the Tarai region tonight.

Similarly, there are chances of light rain and snowfall at one or two places of the mountainous and hilly regions of Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces, Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces.
