Kathmandu. Today’s meeting of the Council of Ministers has taken 4 different decisions. The government has decided to approve the agreement from the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) on the implementation of the Montreal Protocol on the Management and Mitigation of Ozone Depleting Substances.

The meeting also decided to promote Anjani Kumar Pokhrel to the post of Additional Inspector General (AIG) of the Armed Police Force.

The meeting also extended the deadline of the committee to study the report of the commission formed to investigate the incidents that took place during the demonstration on September 7 and 24. The committee formed to study and recommend the security mechanism has been extended by 45 days.

The meeting also decided to appoint the vacant posts at the Land Problems Resolution Committee. Balbhadra Bastola of Kaski is the chairman of the committee while Amir Prasad Neupane, Padmaniti Soti and Dr. Madhav Kumar Shrestha are the members of the committee. Rona Shrestha.
