Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Minister for Foreign Affairs Sishir Khanal is leaving for India today.
Minister Khanal is visiting India at the invitation of External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. Minister Khanal is scheduled to return home from India on the 24th, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the visit, Khanal is scheduled to hold an official meeting with External Affairs Minister of India Jaishankar in New Delhi. Matters of mutual interest including trade, investment, connectivity, energy and people-to-people relations will be discussed during the meeting, it is said. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RPP) President Rabi Lamichhane is returning home from a visit to India.
The two sides will exchange views on further strengthening Nepal-India relations and expanding mutual cooperation, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
