Kathmandu. The Office of the Troubled Cooperative Management Committee has published the names of 132 borrowers of Hamro New Agriculture and Agricultural Development Multipurpose Cooperatives Limited, which has been declared problematic. Of these, 12 are borrowers from our new agricultural cooperative and 120 from the agricultural development multipurpose cooperative.
According to the committee, the list was made public as per the decision of May 7, 2083.
According to the committee, the list has been made public on the basis of the available loan details. In this process, people who have already repaid loans but whose names are included in the list have also been requested to appear with evidence.
Similarly, the remaining borrowers have been asked to contact the committee’s office and repay the loan as soon as possible. Otherwise, the recovery process will be initiated as per the prevailing law, the committee has warned.
The problematic cooperative management committee has made it clear that the details of the borrowers have been made public with the aim of returning the cooperative’s money and protecting the interests of the savers.
