Kathmandu.The Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation has formed a facilitation committee for the implementation of the report of the High Level Commission on Government and Public Land Investigation and Protection (Rawal Commission) 2052 BS.
The Ministry today formed an 8-member committee under the coordination of Deputy Director General of the Survey Department, Krishna Prasad Sapkota.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held at Singha Durbar today had directed the Ministry to implement the report. A facilitation committee has been formed for the implementation of the report as per the ministerial-level decision immediately after the directive of the Council of Ministers.
The members of the committee include Under Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Under Secretary at the Ministry of Infrastructure Development, Chiefs of Land Administration Office and Survey Office, Dilli Bazaar, Chief of Local Level Coordination Section of Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Section Officer of Department of Land Management and Records and Survey Officer of Survey Department.
Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Pratibha Rawal, said that the committee would fulfill its responsibilities as soon as possible. “The report, which has not been implemented for years, has paved the way for the implementation with the directive of the Council of Ministers. ”
