Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Governor Prof Dr Bishwanath Poudel has issued a new Rs 500 denomination banknote.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has issued a new Rs 500 denomination banknote for the country. According to the Nepal Rastra Bank, the currency notes with code numbers J38 000001 to T83 999999 have been brought into circulation.
Earlier, the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) had issued 3,48,000 notes of Rs 500 denomination on December 22, 2021. The obverse of the new banknote has the promise that “If you come to pay the money guaranteed by the Government of Nepal Rastra Bank, you will get Rs 500 from Nepal Rastra Bank immediately.”
On the left side of the note, there is a picture of Mount Everest and on the right side is a water stamp of rhododendron. 2082.” Also, on the left side of the water seal there are two black dots to detect the rate of the note by touching people with different abilities (visually impaired).
On the right side of Mount Everest, there is a picture of Kuber in an oval shape that looks golden and green when looked downwards. In the note, Governor Prof. Dr. Signature of Bishwanath Poudel. The note has a 3.5 mm diameter. The width is straight and there is a red and green looking safety thread when tilted.
In the middle section of the note, there is a picture of a tiger and above it is written “Nepal Rastra Bank”.
