Kathmandu. Kathmandu: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has given top priority to the infrastructure projects within the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) area in the coming fiscal year.

The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has stated this while presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2083/84. “Programmes to manage garbage, improve school education system, promote good governance, capacity building of urban health promotion centres and increase employment and income by promoting ‘one ward, one enterprise programme’ have been given high priority,” the proposed budget reads. Necessary budget has been allocated for the conservation of heritage sites including Bahal, Pokhari, Hiti, Waha, Bahi and Nani as well as for the protection and promotion of tangible and intangible culture. ’
