Kathmandu. The government has formed a task force to resolve the long-standing dispute and problems related to the construction of a cable car at Mukumlung Pathibhara in Taplejung district.
The seven-member taskforce has been formed under the convenorship of social development expert Bishwo Rai as per the secretary-level decision of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, according to PM’s press and research expert Deepa Dahal.
The taskforce has been given 15 days to identify the long-standing disputes and problems related to the construction of the cable car to the Pathivara temple and submit suggestions for resolving it.
The seven-member task force comprises senior divisional engineer at the Ministry of Infrastructure Development, representatives of the side dissenting from the cable car construction and representatives of Pathivara Area Development Committee as members.
Representatives of cable car manufacturing companies, undersecretaries at the Ministry of Home Affairs and personal joint-secretary of Prime Minister Balendra Shah’s secretariat are also members of the taskforce.
