Rain forecast in some places including Koshi Province today

Kathmandu. At present, some parts of Koshi Province are under the influence of monsoon. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Meteorological Forecasting Division, there will be some impact of local and easterly wind in other parts of the country.

According to the Department, the weather will be generally cloudy in the Koshi Province and in the mountainous and hilly areas of the rest of the provinces.TAG_OPEN_div_31 The rest of the Terai region is mainly clean. Light rain is taking place in the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.

There will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous areas of the country and in the Tarai region of Koshi Province towards the afternoon.TAG_OPEN_div_29 There will be partly cloudy weather in Madhes Province. The weather will be mainly fair in other Tarai areas.

Light rain or TAG_OPEN_div_27 thunder likely to occur at some places of the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, at a few places of the hilly region of Bagmati Province and at the Gandaki Province and at one or two places of the hilly region of Lu÷mbini, Karnali Province and Sudur Pashchim Province÷ tonight.

Possibility remains for brief rain accompanied by thunder and lightning ÷ at some places of the Tarai region of Koshi Province and at one or two places of the Madhes Province.TAG_OPEN_div_25

Likewise, heat wave is likely to occur at some places of the Tarai region of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Province while heat wave is likely to occur at some places of the Tarai region of Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province.TAG_OPEN_div_23

Tonight, there will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and in the Terai of Koshi Province.TAG_OPEN_div_21
