Chitwan. The Election Schedule for the first general convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been made public. According to the Central Election Commission, the preliminary list of delegates for the general convention has been published on Saturday night.

The final list of delegates will be published at 11:00 pm today. Chief of the Election Commission Bhuwan KC said that the forms for the nomination of candidates will be distributed from 1:00 pm on Monday.

The filing of candidacy will take place from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Monday and the list of candidates will be published at 6:00 pm. Similarly, the committee will conduct scrutiny of claims and opposition against the candidates from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday and claims and opposition from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. According to him, the last date for withdrawal of candidacy is 9:15 pm. The final list of candidates will be published at 11:00 pm.

The first phase of voting will begin from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. Voting will be held for one president and 99 central members. The counting of votes for the first phase and declaration of results will take place after two hours. After that, the process for the second phase of voting will begin.

The EC has said that a fee of Rs 51,000 is required for the candidacy for the party president, and a proposer and support of 51 people. Similarly, a fee of Rs 41,000 is required for the office-bearers of the party and a proposer and the support of 21 members is required. There are 4,211 delegates in the general convention.
