10 arrested from Koteshwor and Jadibuti

. KATHMANDU: The Traffic Police have arrested 10 persons on the charge of causing unnecessary trouble and harassment to the passengers leaving the Kathmandu Valley.

A team deputed from the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office arrested 10 persons on the charge of causing unnecessary hardship to the passengers at bus counters in Koteshwor and Jadibuti areas.TAG_OPEN_div_14

The arrestees have been identified as Surya Bahadur Devkota, 40, of Dhanusha, Prakash Shiwakoti, 32, of Dolakha, Haribhajan Thapa, 55, of Bhaktapur, Dilli Prasad Lamichhane, 38, of Dolakha and Suresh Tamang, 28, of Sindhupalchowk, according to the spokesperson of the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, Naresh Raj Subedi.TAG_OPEN_div_12

The arrestees have been identified as Tilak Kumar Thapa, 27, of Sindhuli, Khadka Bahadur Tamang, 26, of Dolakha, Dor Kumar Shrestha, 36, of Sindhuli, Nandalal Budhathoki, 45, of Okhaldhunga and Rajesh Sapkota, 36, of Sindhupalchowk.TAG_OPEN_div_10

They were arrested for indecent acts such as pulling passengers and snatching their bags, he said.TAG_OPEN_div_8 All the arrestees have been sent to the District Police Range, Kathmandu for necessary investigation and further legal action, Subedi said.
