Bagmati. The Bagmati Province government has decided to protect the interests of troubled cooperatives and savers.

The government’TAG_OPEN_div_18 s budget for the fiscal year 2083/084 has introduced a program to protect the interests of the problematic cooperative management and savers.

Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Prabhat Tamang said that the budget has been allocated for monitoring, supervision and financial discipline of cooperatives.TAG_OPEN_div_16

The budget also states that a digital crime tracking system will be developed by installing CCTV cameras in public places.TAG_OPEN_div_14

The budget has stated that security awareness campaign will be launched to reduce drug abuse, human trafficking and cybercrime.TAG_OPEN_div_12 Minister Tamang said that embankments would be constructed in flood, landslide and inundation affected areas, disaster volunteers would be mobilized and disaster relief programme would be conducted.

According to the government, traffic lights will be installed in places where there is heavy traffic pressure and smart check posts will be set up at the main checkpoints of the province.TAG_OPEN_div_10
