Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank hands over coolers and Braille paper to Shree Durga Secondary School, Birtamod

Kathmandu. Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has handed over coolers and Braille paper to Shree Durga Secondary School, Birtamode Municipality-09, Jhapa as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility program.

The bank’s Koshi Province Chief Khim Lal Bhusal handed over the cooler and Braille paper to Laxman Sapkota, principal of Shree Durga Secondary School. The bank provided the support to the school to provide the necessary equipment for the blind hostel.

It is expected that the cooler will help the visually impaired students to study and live in a comfortable environment by easing the temperature inside the hostel during the summer season and will contribute significantly to make the learning process of the students more effective and qualitative.

Expressing gratitude for the support received from the bank, Sapkota expressed his confidence that this support would be helpful in the study and hostel management of the visually impaired students.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Bhusal said that the Bank has been implementing various social responsibility programs with the objective of developing education sector and addressing the needs of the community. He expressed his commitment to continue such programs in the coming days as well.
