Kathmandu. United Ajod Insurance Company has called its 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM). As per the decision of the Board of Directors meeting of the Insurance Company on Tuesday, the AGM will be held on July 14 at 10:30 am at Amarpali Banquet Catering and Events Pvt. Ltd., Baluwatar, Kathmandu.

Under the special resolution of the meeting, a major proposal for dividend distribution to shareholders will be submitted. The company has proposed to issue 10 percent bonus shares of its current paid-up capital i.e. Rs 210 million.

Similarly, the AGM will approve and endorse the annual report of the Board of Directors for FY 2081/82, financial statements (statements of profit or loss, statement of cash flow etc.) along with the auditor’s report.

After issuance of bonus shares, the company’s paid-up capital will reach Rs 2.31 billion.

For the purpose of AGM and dividend distribution, the Insurance Company will close the shareholders registration book on July 19. Therefore, only the shareholders of the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) as on July 1 will be eligible to participate in the AGM and receive the proposed dividend.
